Ariana Tikao at the Harbour Light Theatre
(supported by Ragamuffin Children)
In association with CHART and Native Tongue music publishing, Christchurch singer-songwriter, Ariana Tikao (Kāi Tahu) is presenting an intimate concert of her unique waiata at the Harbour Light Theatre on Wednesday 16th September, at 8pm.
Ragamuffin Children have been charming and beguiling audiences, around New Zealand and Europe, with their eerily lilting, handmade folk songs since Brooke Singer and Anita Clarke formed the group in 2006. Both Ragamuffin Children and Ariana are published by Native Tongue.
Doors will open at 7.30pm, and table bookings can be made at www.harbourlight.co.nz or door sales available on the night, only $10 entry. Contact Ariana at horomaka@actrix.co.nz
“Tuia was performed so beautifully yet staunch, and had a heavy impact leaving the audience in a stunned silence. “ Lexie Brown, CANTA (review of Ōhākī)
“…a magical and at times mystical trip… like being bundled up in a big feather cloak and transported to another world”. Scott Kara, Weekend Herald
