Rhythm & Vines Sound Check! kicks off Labour Weekend events in Gisborne, New Zealand

Heading to Gisborne for a huge Labour Weekend...

Rhythm & Vines kicks off the Wine & Food Festival weekend in style with the second installment of its 2009 \Sound Check!\ series.

Come down to the Poverty Bay Club on Friday 23rd for an early drink with festival organisers, followed by live music and DJs.

Singer-songwriters Hamish Pinkham from Blackbird, D-33 from Skankamelia and The Acoustic Assassin with guest vocalist Ariana warm up the mics in sunny East Coast styles. Followed by the deep rhythmic jams and dirty baile-breaks of BrazilBeat Sound System. Pushing through to cutting-edge dubstep and drum&bass from DJ Robba and MC Dread-Eye.

In celebration of the 3rd R&V Lineup Announcement, a 3-day Rhythm and Vines ticket will be given away at the event! Be there to be in to win!
