It's the return of the BigBoyBand! We were so exhausted after playing at CubaDupa that we forgot to do anything for 100 years, but don't panic!!! We're back in full swinging force playing at the Rogue and Vagabond on Thursday the 16th of July. You won't want to miss this next installment of our shenanigans: the BigBoyBand's Mid-Winter Valentine's Day! Yes, you read that correctly. Mid-Winter Christmas is a little played out by now so we're trying something different- just another example of innovation from the city's leading just-have-fun jazz orchestra. The BigBoyBand is a 15-piece ensemble that plays original compositions and arrangements written Wellington bassist Seth Boy, whose music prioritises laughter, friendship, and optimism above all else.
Free entry, music starts at 8pm. Which means turn up beforehand and buy a drink or some food or put $100 into the koha tuba/self-serve EFTPOS machine.
