Late at the Museum 2013: Of Gods and Men
Love, war, family, new life - we used to lay the big issues in the lap of the gods - but now we attempt to wrest control amid the turbulence of modern life. Join our moderators and guests as they discuss the matters once determined by the gods. As always, great music will follow.
Zeus & Hera - Family and Marriage
In the first Late of the season we’ll look at family life and whether we are building communities that support safe, strong and healthy families.
Led by Noelle McCarthy, the panel features:
- Conrad Reyners, co-ordinator of the Marriage Equality Campaign
- Dr Susan Morton, Associate Professor at the University of Auckland, Director and Principal Investigator leading the Growing Up in New Zealand study, and a Senior Lecturer in Epidemiology and Population Health.
Great Music
Opossom, the award-winning collaboration by iconic kiwi musicians Kody Nielson and Bic Runga, winners of the Best Alternative Album at the NZ Music Awards 2012 for their album 'Eclectric Hawaii' and nominees for the Taite Prize 2013.
