American-by-way-of-New Zealand (well claim it) musician Ryan McPhun has become a critically acclaimed purveyor of shimmering Antipodean pop over the past eight years, with his project The Ruby Suns.
On latest album Christopher McPhun dives rambunctiously into dance pop territory, and songs are unabashedly concerned with subject matter appropriate for said sound: teenage crisis and falling in love. They also happen to be exceptionally fun to dance to.
Suren Unka and another special guest will join The Ruby Suns on-stage THIS Friday May 10th!
