Dinosaur Jr frontman J Mascis has confirmed three February solo shows around New Zealand in both acoustic and electric mode.
J Mascis concert dates are:
Thursday February 26, DuxLive, Christchurch
Friday Feb 27: Bodega, Wellington
Saturday Feb 28: The Studio, K Rd Auckland
Sunday March 1: Chicks Hotel, Dunedin

Mascis was last in New Zealand performing a sold out Dinosaur Jr. concert in Auckland in March 2013.
2014 has been quite a year for J Mascis – he released his acclaimed solo album Tied To A Star, has busily toured solo and with Dinosaur Jr, and guested with a reformed Nirvana in Brooklyn, New York in April.
Mascis on tour will peform material from Tied To A Star and 2012s glorious Several Shades Of Why, as well as selecting from the catalogue of the legendary Dinosaur Jr, and no doubt a unique take on a cover or two.
