Copenhagen DJ and Berghain regular Najaaraq Nicoline Kleist Vestbirk has been making her mark on the European techno scene under her Courtesy alias since graduating from the 2014 Tokyo Red Bull Music Academy. Whilst also working as a music journalist she has presented us the best dance music coming out of her local area on her Scenery Copenhagen show on RBMA radio, and last year began her Ectotherm imprint alongside fellow Copenhagener Mama Snake. Alongside all of this she has cemented her place amongst some of the best DJ talent in Europe with her sets of driving techno that always maintain a lo-fi flavour - earning her sets at some of the world’s most renowned clubs. The team here at Haven are truly stoked to bring you such high-level international talent in such an intimate setting!

Haven affiliate and Auckland’s one and only techno reject, Keepsakes, will be coming in to this gig straight off the back of his second European tour in the past 12 months, so he will be sure to have a fresh new batch of tunes ready to satisfy that pesky itch for crunchy bangers.

Local lads and Inky Waves affiliates DJ Kush Boogie are fast becoming the NZ dance music talent to keep an eye on. Their recent release on label-of-the-moment Lobster Theremin and their DJ sets have us very excited to see these nuggets of lo-fi house joy get Whammy’s backroom moving.

This evening will see Haven affiliate J9R present a very rare ambient DJ set to begin proceedings. Make sure you make it down early to see a unique set from a producer soon to be released on Wellington’s Quietus-approved End of the Alphabet records.
