The Bats are doing a warm-up gig in Christchurch before they head over to play at the Sydney Festival for the release of their new album The Deep Set.
The band recorded and mixed at The Sitting Room studio in Lyttelton with Ben Edwards.
The Bats will be joined on stage by Mikey Sommerfield and John Christtofels who performed strings on the album.
Released through Flying Nun in Australasia on 27th January and other places in the world on 3rd February.
