Kane Strang has announced a New Zealand tour for August and September. This will be the first time the four-piece have toured their home country since playing numerous shows in the United States and Europe earlier this year, including Austin's SXSW, Treefort Festival and The Great Escape in Brighton.
The tour also follows the June release of Kane’s sophomore album Two Hearts and No Brain, his first for Austin based label Dead Oceans. Popmatters described it as a refined bold album that repays repeated listens with its timeless hooks and melodies and The Revue added to this praise, calling it a timeless album for all ages. The band’s show for NZ will mostly be made up of tracks from this latest record, with more than one song making its live debut.
