John Sanchez-Lloyd: Piano. Phil Doublet: Guitar

John Sanchez-Lloyd and Phil Doublet enjoy diverse and acclaimed musical careers. They have performed together since 2009 playing their self-penned songs and the odd cover in their own unique style. They were introduced to a wider audience at the 2010 Jazz and Blues Festival and continue to perform regularly at festivals, concerts and numerous venues around New Zealand.
They released a live concert album in 2011 - Live Ones from the Mussel Inn.

John is best known for his work with the iconic South Island band the Coalrangers – Tui Music Awards winners in 1997 for the album Coast to Coast. He is in demand for a range of session work and is presently working on a solo album and further Coalrangers shows this summer.

Phil is at home playing blues and country music, genres in which he is highly regarded. He also keeps busy as a music teacher, session player and composer. Phil recently won the Country Performer of the Year for 2014 and was finalist 2017 Recorded Music NZ Best Country Album for Endless Highway. He has released two solo albums and is currently working on his third. finalists for the

VENUE: Irish Society Hall, 29 Domain Terrace, Spreydon
The hall is situated up the long driveway, directly next to Domain Park, and there is plenty of well-lit off-street parking.
DOOR SALES CASH ONLY: Tea, coffee, biscuits and cake available during the break, also bar facilities for cold refreshments throughout the night, Eftpos available for purchases only, no cash-out facility.
