Having spent the whole year in tropical Norway, releasing an album, Sprite Fountain, in June and playing shows in Norway with a Norwegian band and Ryan touring around Europe solo this past September/October, The Ruby Suns are finally back in Aotearoa to play their first shows here since the release of the new record. They've just played Auckland's Wondergarden Festival on New Year's Eve and want to play one more show in Auckland before Ryan heads back to Norway for the rest of winter.
Bevan Smith and Alistair Deverick revive their roles as synthmeister and percussion guru respectively, while Jonathan Pearce joins the fold to look after bass duties.
