Deep Web Touring presents: Q+A Tour. Set to launch three lower North Island shows showcasing two live electronic acts, Max Jax Relax and Cold Sweat plus local guests. The tour will visit Valhalla in Wellington, Zeal on the Kapiti Coast, and finish at Massey University on October 23, 25 and 27 respectively. Covering genres from dark-pop all the way to funk and soul, the shows are set to be a dazzling display of smoke, lights and young talent. It won’t be a tour to miss.
Max Jax Relax comprise of bassist/vocalist Robbie Mulligan, Jackson Plumpton on vocals/guitar/keys and Max McAlpine handling the drums/electronics. Basslines will be sure to ooze out of the soundsystem, backed by punchy drums and spacious effects to take your mind on a journey away from the comfort of reality. Vocals will bring you back to earth with hooks so catchy you’ll be singing along by the end of it and wondering when the last time you had this much fun.
Cold Sweat’s Amelia Francis, Samuelu Evander Vaofusi and Callan Melaugh will show you exactly how a trio is supposed to sound. A mixture of acoustic and electronic drums by Amelia will be sure to add an extra dimension of sounds and rhythm to the palette, working in synchronicity with Callan’s vocals, while the keys of Samuelu will leave you weak at the knees by the end of the performance.
