This October see’s Tim Hart’s return to New Zealand for his first solo shows since 2012. As the drummer of insanely popular folk-rock band Boy & Bear, the majority of Hart’s musical life is spent behind the drum kit – touring the world, singing back-up vocals, and contributing songwriting to the award-winning Sydney group’s beloved songs and spirit. This year Hart has taken time to tour in support of his second album ‘the Narrow Corner’. 2018 has seen him perform in his homeland Australia as well as throughout Europe and North America, and now returning to New Zealand for a handful of shows in the north island with long time friend and collaborator Luke Thompson.
This will also be Thompson’s first New Zealand tour in nearly two years. Having decided not to tour again until after making a new record, “I couldn’t resist the chance to hit the road with an old mate. I am looking forward to getting out and just singing some songs old and new and connecting with people in some small venues and living rooms”. The pair start their tour in Hamilton on October 25th.
