UK club icon Gilles Peterson is returning to Aotearoa this November for a special headline show at Aucklands Hollywood Avondale. The French-born DJ, broadcaster, producer, compiler, and label boss has left an indelible mark on the world of dance music culture, helming such pivotal labels as Acid Jazz, Talkin Loud and Brownswood Recordings helping launch the careers of artists including Roni Size, and Jamiroquai, presenting the long-running weekly Worldwide show on BBCs Radio 1 (hes since moved to Radio 6) and lending his eclectic taste-making style to countless compilations.
