Legendary DJ Dudhead began DJing actively in 1983 and hosts the longest-running weekly specialist radio show on Auckland’s 95bFM which has broadcast continuously since 1990. The Rhythm Selection airs every Monday night from 9.00 - 11.00PM (NZST) and can also be heard worldwide as a live audio stream and podcast at www.95bfm.co.nz.
Dubhead has played reggae, funk and hip-hop at countless gigs and events throughout NZ including support for international touring artists such as; Sly & Robbie, Burning Spear, Toots & The Maytals, The Wailers, Shaggy, Ziggy Marley, Mary J Blige, Lauryn Hill, Jimmy Cliff, Eddy Grant, Maxi Priest, Mad Professor, African Head Charge, Ben Harper, Rockers Hi-Fi, Arrested Development, and UB40.
Although perhaps best known for his roots reggae and dub selections, Dubhead is renowned for his immersion in many different styles of music over the years.
