So much energy and talent wrapped up in 5 human beings that call themselves 'The Preservatives'. Their take on the blues has reinvigorated a genre that has been largely overlooked in Christchurch and given me hope for the future.

The Preservatives are my favourite covers band on the NZ scene. They breathe new life and energy into classic songs, adding their own style and flair whilst keeping the elements that made those songs classics in the first place.
