Rockin the Rahui - a night of good time grooves celebrating our Kauri and its Protectors - featuring live music from the one and only SWAMP THING.....
And more!

Barnett Hall comes alive on Queens Birthday weekend to the rockin vibes and gritty swamp blues of SWAMP THING - joined by a selection of hot music from around the Waitākere Ranges region including Catherine Tunks & her Bona Fide Band, Te Henga Collective, and students from Rob's School of Rock to kick off the night.

With MC Snapper Thiele (The Nukes) hosting the night and brought to you from the Waitākere Rāhui team of Forest & Bird Waitākere, The Tree Council, Waitākere Ranges Protection Society and Toi Toi Music - this collective celebration and thank you to our Waitākere communities for supporting the rāhui and protecting our forest will have information on kauri dieback, the rāhui in the Waitākere Ranges, Kauri Rescue and is a positive celebration through music, art, rockin good boogie and maybe a bit of kauri education as ya go.......!

This is event is expected to sell out and tickets will not be available once we have reached capacity, we can not guarantee any door sales to be available - best book those tickets and get on in for Queens Birthday Weekend at the one and only Piha Beach.
