Anthonie Tonnon is bringing his Rail Land show to Gonville for a special, one-off show this winter. He will perform at St Peter’s Church - one of Whanganui’s oldest public buildings.
Rail Land is a theatrical extension of Tonnon’s live show. Equal parts tragedy, comedy, and personal memoir, the show intersects Tonnon’s songs with synthesizer soundscapes, personal narratives, historical letters to the editor, and notes on how to take Aotearoa's surviving public rail journeys.
