Christopher Tubbs likes playing records. A lot. So much in fact that sometimes he has to be wrestled from the turntables and locked in the 121 stock room just so the Body Electric guest gets a chance to play a radio edit. Luckily for us, Mr Tubbs is also pretty good at playing records, having spent a lifetime doing just that all over the world.... so maybe his crazed megalomania does have an upside.
Such as it is we’ve asked him to take over Body Electric at Club 121 for the entire evening on the 26th of July. A night of supreme left field disco, basement shaking house records and streamlined techno with a dollop of acid thrown in for good measure.
