Ed pool (Switzerland) Techno Jazz
'Ed Pool' brings together multi-instrumentalist André Manella on beats, synth, keys, guitar and loops and Urs Signer on space-clarinet and keys. The Swiss-born Aotearoa-dwelling duo brings live electronica to the dance floor - we call it techno-jazz! Expect wild solos, groovy beats and a funky good time.
AlleyKat (Waihi) Baseline house with some garage & breaks
Through big bass, swing, electro, reggae, hip hop, ska and a dabbling of punk, AlleyKat loves to mix up the genres. Making mix tapes since the 80’s, AlleyKat brings an eclectic vibe. Touring NZ bands to Australia, running record label AlleyKat Records & dropping samples with the band Melatonin in Melbourne, set Al’s course in the Music Industry. One of the key organisers and Producer of Sundaise Music Festival and running Sunsonics, his own solar powered sound system.
Matt Rapid (Coromandel)
Matt Rapid is a roaming sound engineer and music record-ist. A lover of synthesisers, found sounds, sliced and diced rhythms, and raw energy. Merging soundscapes, tweaked field recordings and heavy-weight flex into a deep, wild and constantly shifting bass music blend.
