An infectious, immersive experience, F.R.E.D. takes their lovers on a dancefloor-journey from the sweetly psychedelic to perfectly dirty, romping good pop’n’roll.
Formerly known as Girl Named Fred, the band formed in November 2018 when a trio of flatmates (Cam, Louis and Jesse) who just happened to be well-versed musicians, decided to play their own house party. They found their bassist (Alex) at the local pub, then completed the line-up in more recent times with a savvy drummer (Karen).
Since then they have gone on to sell out Whammy Backroom, perform at festivals around the country including Cuba Dupa (Wellington), and release their first single Paris Sunrise on Spotify/Itunes.
F.R.E.D. headline Whammy Main Room on September 7th with special guests Ingrid and the Ministers and The Saxobros.
