Gig Information

Forthcoming Wellington record label Racquet Club proudly presents their inaugural party featuring an incredible live set performed by Borrowed CS & Mara TK at renowned Wellington venue Meow on September 14.

Individually both Mara TK and Borrowed CS have seen international success through labels such as Soundway Records (UK), Wonderful Noise (JPN) and Max Graef's Money $ex Records (DE), with their lead single Brainstorm from Borrowed CS’s latest release Single Beat Combinations getting the visual treatment supported by NZ On Air.

Working closely with some of Aotearoa's finest musical talents, Mara's vocals have been the centrepiece to some of the most insatiable tracks to be birthed out of our country. A member of Electric Wire Hustle and a close friend to the likes of Lord Echo and Julien Dyne, it's hard to mention New Zealand music without his name popping up.

Borrowed CS is an incredibly gifted drummer, producer and musician. One of the country's finest selectors as a DJ, Cory has seen success through multiple limited 12” releases, performing nationwide live sets and was the recipient of the coveted Toi Pōneke NZSM Sound Artist in Residence for 2018/19.

With support from local legends Benny Salvador and Uber Driver, this show is set to be an amazing night showcasing some of the best electronic music Aotearoa has to offer.
