LIVE @ ARATOI presents violinist and composer Anita Clark – Motte – modern classical, alt/experimental pop and improvisation - and acclaimed sound artist Campbell James Kneale, who will open the concert with an acoustic set.
MOTTE - Weaving together a richly textured world with a violin, delay pedal, a small collection of other tech, and voice, Motte rides the thin line between beauty and devastation, creating a world solely her own. Motte has released two albums, toured NZ and Australia, has composed music for films and ballet.
KNEALE - Barely over the jet-lag and airport food of his recent Scandinavian tour, renowned artist Campbell James Kneale has been forging his own transcendent sound for nigh on a quarter of a century. He is currently performing entirely acoustically to produce concentrated and gorgeous drones and vibrations that straddle the macro/micro divide.
Doors open 6.30pm for 7pm start.
Saturday, 5 October.
Tickets: $20 from all i-Sites and from Eventfinda.
Door sales: $25
LIVE AT ARATOI is supported by Grafia Productions and Masterton District Council.
