Australian acts Soda Eaves and Jordan Ireland bring their abstract dream-folk across the Tasman. Joined by Auckland local Mali Mali.
Soda Eaves are a 5-piece musical collective. They play distinctly Australian folk songs, incorporating atmospheric blues and warped found sounds to evoke smudge vignettes of the distance and hope. They have released two LPs - 'Like Drapes Either Side' (2013) & 'Murray, Darling' (2016) - with a third due in the near future.
Jordan Ireland is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and composer from Far North Queensland. Formerly of Australian indie-folk band The Middle East, Jordan has gone on to record two solo records - the heart to heart lo-fi bedroom recordings of ‘Temperate Touch, Tropical Tears’ and the sensory chamber pop of ‘Jordan Ireland With Purple Orchestra’.
