In the three years since New Zealand boutique synth manufacturer Synthstrom Audible launched their innovative, all-in-one, portable electronic instrument, Deluge, they’ve seen a committed and passionate community of users grow around the world.
Recently Synthstrom Audible announced they were launching a record label to further showcase the music created on their instrument and invited their users to submit tracks for consideration. 2020 will see the release of ‘Release’, a 26 track double-vinyl collection of songs selected from the hundreds submitted. To celebrate the launch of this collection, Synthstrom are announcing a massive world tour of parties featuring performances on the Deluge.
Shows will include performers from the vinyl release, other highlighted performances and also an opportunity for any local user to bring their SD card, jump on and play a 5-min set if they wish. Many of the shows will also feature a special opportunity before the show kicks off for users to get together and have a discussion with project manager Ian Jorgensen joined by inventor/engineer Rohan Hill (via satellite).
