The DeSotos Acoustic Routes Tour March 2020

Summer’s here and that means it’s time for The DeSotos to hit the road for their 2020 acoustic tour. This year’s ‘Acoustic Routes’ show will be winding its way south to all new venues in the lower North and upper South Islands.

The DeSotos are one of New Zealand’s leading Americana / country blues recording and touring acts, based in Auckland.

The band are excited to be performing at the Tin Hut in Tauherenikau for the first time, a legendary music venue in the south Wairarapa.

The shows feature original songs from the various DeSotos albums and Paul’s 2017 solo project, plus selected country roots material from the American songbook, and other band favourites.

You’ll hear anything from gin-soaked ballads through to upbeat grooves that will get the toes tapping. And all played with the upmost conviction!

The shows provide an up close and personal experience with the musicians in intimate venues, and have proven very popular over the last few years.
