Delaney Davidson brings his Haunted Blues shows to regional South Island destinations! Amping up his 2020 schedule Delaney adds 9 shows (all south of Christchurch) to his tour plan:
“I wanted to go back to some of the smaller centres in the south, revisiting places like Twizel, Invercargill. I have never played Ophir and Stewart Island, and I am so excited to finally get a chance to see them!”
Delivering his Haunted Blues show in these intimate settings is based on Delaney’s recent visit to Japan.
“ I went a dance show in a theatre with an 8 person capacity. The show Underworld Flower featured tormented Buto performance. I was hypnotized, and I saw a new way to present things. I saw the value of connection through expression and a show that works on a different energetic level. Part redemption, part damnation, part possession, part cleansing. Open yourself like a window and see what comes through”
