Nowhere is proud to present UK’s DJ Barely Legal in Auckland
Not many DJs can say they’ve curated Room 2 at Fabric, but for Chloe Robinson, aka Barely Legal, it’s something she’s achieved two years in a row, and all under her own Pretty Weird brand too. The Birmingham-born, London-based DJ has been making a stamp on the music scene since buying her first set of turntables at 19. Since then, she has played her compulsive mix of techno, electro and jungle sets in the UK’s most iconic clubs, from Ministry of Sound to Warehouse Project, at festivals such as Boomtown and Glastonbury, as well as Ibiza’s DC10 for Circoloco and Amnesia, not to mention European festivals like Outlook and Snowbombing.
The multi-genre DJ, who is also known for her in-depth knowledge and love of UK Garage, Grime, Future Garage, Dubstep, Drum ‘n’ Bass and Jungle, even launched her Pretty Weird label in 2017 – a moment that has seen her curate two tours in the UK and Europe. A regular on radio shows such as Rinse FM, BBC 1Xtra and NTS, Barely Legal is gearing up for a busy few months with tours in India, America, Australia and New Zealand already announced and much more in the pipeline.
