Wellington Jazz Club presents *Leigh Jackson Trio*
At Wellington Jazz Club's March gig on Sunday 15 March 2020 @ Meow Event Venue from 5pm to 7pm the *Leigh Jackson Trio*, led by Leigh Jackson (guitars) with Jacqui Nyman (acoustic bass) and Luther Hunt (drums) will present a night of jazz guitar standards made famous by Wes Montgomery, Barney Kessel, Johnny Smith, Charlie Byrd, Pat Metheny, and Kenny Burrell. The gig will feature compositions by Jerome Kern, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Paul Simon, Bud Powell, Bill Evans, and many more. You'll hear three top musicians blending their individual skills for your enjoyment.
Join us for another exciting foot-tapping evening of excellent jazz.
Be aware that our AGM will be briefly held during the interval.
Bring friends along to share an evening of fine jazz with fine musicians. Come early to get a good seat. See you there.
