Klang founder releases his debut album HyperNormal and we're having a party to celebrate with a killer line up of solid techno all night long!
We're pretty excited to have Klang founder Samari releasing his debut album this month so we decided to throw an Album release party and invite some of Klang fav' heavyweight DJ's along
HyperNormal
HyperNormal, the nine track debut album from New Zealand born Samari is a hard hitting soundtrack to the documentary Hypernormalization from Adam Curtis.
Each track encapsulates a chapter from the documentary, drawing parallels from the fall of Russia's communist state in the eighties and our current corporate 'fake world'.
Using a similar process to Jeff Mill's reinterpretation of Metropolis, HyperNormal distills the decay and angst within Curtis' film to create a new sonic landscape, one that maintains a fine balance between destruction and regeneration.

Scarlett
Fresh from performing her first show at Splore and Beacon Festival, Scarletts reputation as one of Aucklands techno Heavyweights couldn't be more assured.
Club Shy (aka Flurro)
We're super stoked to have Club Shy back on the decks for another round. He's always brought the pressure and we're looking forward to hearing what he has installed for us this time.
Aw B
She's one of the countries most iconic and talented DJ's. Originally wellington based, Aw B just got back from demolishing Splore and is performing twice at 121 festival (because she's that good)
