Dunedin's go-to bass player for several decades, John has also earned a reputation as a performing songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. As a school music teacher he's been a mentor and tutor to hundreds of Dunedin's contemporary and classical musicians, and off the back of a fulsome rock and roll career since his teens, he has a massive back-catalogue of songs, from blues to bluegrass, country to contemporary.
John is joined by the ineffable Hudson Brothers (Chris on bass and Steve on drums), with whom he has had a long association.
