Miriam McCombe -
Miriam believes there’s a bit of something for everyone in her music. Inspired by folk, disco, soul, jazz, classical, musical theatre and more, her songs never seem to fall into one style for too long. Using warm piano chords and stripped back ukulele, she draws the listener in by recounting personal experiences with honest lyricism and distinctive melodies, creating songs that vary from downright depressing to humorous and light-hearted.
Just Char -
Just Char, an Auckland based singer/songwriter from New Zealand. Char has had a long lasting passion for music since a young age. Char began sharing her music in the hopes that it would mean something to someone, like it has meant to her throughout her life. Taking inspiration from artists such as Clairo and Mallrat, Char combines soft, intimate lyrics and vocals that drip with emotion to create songs about heartbreak, love and life in an indie style.
Her 2020 debut single \Glass Memories\ certainly embodies this passion with her heartfelt lyrics touching the lives of her audience. Now, Char is working on her debut EP, where the release of \Glass Memories\, \It's a Shame, I reckon\, and \A Man of His Word\ offer just a glimpse into what you can expect to come, all of which you can find on all streaming platforms.
Zoe Scott -
Zoe Scott is an award-winning vocalist from small town of Geraldine, New Zealand. In her short 20 years Zoe has been awarded with many national and international awards including the Overall Junior winner of the New Zealand Gold Guitar awards and Overall winner of Australia’s Coca Cola Battle of the Young Stars. In the past years Zoe’s focus has shifted from competitive singing to songwriting and discovering who she is as a musician. She continues to captivate audiences with her powerful, yet effortless voice accompanied with an emotional vulnerability beyond her years.
She is currently focussing on acoustic based songwriting, but is wanting to expand and start working with jazz/blues musicians, like her major influences Amy Winehouse and Paolo Nutini.
