Gig Information

a Thursday Noise Situation favourite VAZZ return this November 26th at 8pm at the darkroom with the debut live performances of Checked Radiator and ALABASTER CRASHES DOWN, and; for the first time, the combined talents of Paul Sutherland with Purple Mountain Eagle.

VAZZ: Esoteric drones and melting guitars. Monolithic lullabies for the end of times.

Paul Sutherland will extract chattering loops and drones from obsolete equipment, compact discs and radios along with the mysterious strings of John Chrisstoffels before erstwhile collaborators Purple Mountain Eagle interject with their own version of the Bo Diddley beat.

alabaster crashes down is an occasional side project and draws on killing jokes 'hossanas from the basement of hell' and soft cell's 'the art of falling apart'.
grounded in an intense dislike of pink floyd alabaster crashes down makes noises reminiscent of discarded thoughts and suggestion

Using a series of oddly conceived and jerry-built DIY effects units, Checked Radiator finds noises and feedback - as though he were moving a broken gramaphone needle backwards and forwards through time.
