Ollie Crooks is a Dunedin born songwriter raised by an artistic family beside the sea. He is normally seen as a solo musician but this year he has brought the elements of a band to his upcoming album and paving a new path in his music career. With a whole bunch of influences in mind Ollie creates a unique blend of country-rock blues, folk, soul and sometimes a splash of hip hop. Be here to witness this milestone with Ollie and his band.
Ollie has been knuckling down with Person Will and George Giblin to work on the first full length LP, ‘take you there’. The full band experience is a show of diversity of song writing with influences ranging from bluegrass to hip hop.
