Sponsored by Auckland City Of Music, Brown Sugar Factory is serving you an entertainment experience like no other. Join us at Phoenix Cabaret on K Rd for an evening of interactive art installations, dance, delicious food, and of course some mouth watering musical extravagance.
We start our journey with a line up of the most fiery funk house acts on the scene. Presenting ‘BEIKS’ taking a short break from his mic On Air at George FM Nights to spin the decks before handing the over to ‘Gabriella Gonzales’, who you may recognise from some of the biggest festivals in the country. Our favourite man ‘BRIDGES’ from the UK; will be joining us once again with his great big bushy beard dishing out disco hip shakers on the ones and twos. Finally, ‘DI SUN’ flys in from Brazil to guide you on a journey through the house jungle - our man leaves listeners as mere puddles on the dance floor.
Last but certainly not least, Brown Sugar Factory will be presenting their most eclectic set yet full of brand new sounds, brand new friends, and brand new energy to be digested. Tasty.
Move and shake with our incredible dance performers; the gorgeous, majestic Naomi spinning hoops while we spin the decks & our boy Kwyze an outstanding, tasty groover of the highest order.
The space will be lovingly decorated with visuals projected across the space from VJ ‘Alexander’, Māori toi and whakairo from the team at ‘Kiko’, visual magic from Bowie reincarnate ‘Patsy Skeet’ as well as our very own ‘Feebily’.
To complete this immersive experience Filipino meryenda and snacks will be available to keep your energy flowing throughout the night.
