Ghost Media and Third Eye Hi-Fi are joining forces once again to bring you a night of barbaric proportions... This time we are proud to welcome the one and only SAM BINGA for his Aotearoa debut at our favourite hole in the wall, the mighty Valhalla!
Not only that, but we've double booked, and have ended up with not one but two internationals for this show. Joining Mr Binga we have one of Nottingham's finest, FROST, warming things up with some of that Pond Life sound we've all become accustomed to.
If you are unaware of the work of Sam Binga, you must not have been shazaming at any of our events. Genre-wise this man has done it all, from dnb, footwork and jungle through to garage, UK funky, breakbeat and techno - a finger in many pies indeed! He also runs Pineapple Records, a cutting edge club music label that has hosted the likes of Bakey, Cesco and Sister Zo - some of our favourites as you may be aware. We have no idea what to expect from a Binga set, but we know we're looking forward to it.
On top of that, we've pulled out the big guns on the local front. Opening things up all the way from Otautahi, we have AYALUNA delivering their soul-healing and mystical brand of dubstep to get the ball rolling. On closing duties we have Poneke selector-at-large CHAZZ delivering the goods while you dance the night away.
Rumour has it Young Gho$t may also make an appearance...
