AUM Festival is one of the leading festivals in Aotearoa New Zealand, with a reputation for being summer’s friendliest festival, and one which cherishes art, creativity and community.

Each new year’s four themed stages are created from the ground-up, each with its a unique vibe. From the massive White Stag stage under the huge canopy, to the circus tent Hill stage which hosts diverse artistry from live bands, shows like Suzy Cato and Friends, and a Midnight Cabaret circus and performance showcase.

AUM has grown across the last decade into one of the best-kept festival secrets of summer. Great vibes, a breathtaking site with ideal camping located near Parakai just an hour from central Auckland, and a growing international reputation which is making it the choice of backpackers and international travellers.

AUM is committed to providing the highest-quality sound, visuals, lights and production each year, and the visual art on show is much loved with local artists creating art live, or in collaboration with people who’ve come to AUM.

We also have health and workshops in the Healing Glade zone where a schedule of yoga, massage, relaxing breathwork and other workshops runs throughout the festival.

ENVIRONMENT. AUM is one of Aotearoa's cleanest, litter-free and low environmental impact festivals and has been since inception long before it was a trendy marketing pitch. We make use of recycled and upcycled goods wherever possible in the creation of our event, minimise water use, and each year we look for ways to improve on and ensure sustainability with an aspirational goal of holding zero waste, zero impact events. We also commit to supporting local businesses and artists.
