Coming up on 26 September, with a lineup of: Davi Dharris, Toby Sussex, Zoe Scott, Bergin Kerr Norman,
Davi Dharris - Davi’s been fishing in the soundhole and offers up some fresh catch. Sounds of the sea, horse hoof, coal trains are some of the inspirations behind Davi’s recent songlike discoveries. Wringing the focus ring til to coughs up the gentle goods wild. And while we're at it, clap along!
Toby Sussex - Pōneke indie folk-pop singer-songwriter Toby Sussex performs a healthy mix of fingerpicked acoustic songs and energetic live-looped bops. Heartfelt lyrics, melodic vocal hooks and a flurry of guitar based goodness awaits!
Zoe Scott - Fresh to Poneke after a stint of the transient troubadour lifestyle, Zoe Scott is a songwriter that you truly shouldn't miss. Her ability to weave vulnerable stories of love, loss and feminine rage continue to captivate audiences when paired with her powerful, yet effortless voice. With a fresh set for her first gig in the city, you can expect to be left in a puddle of tears or cursing the patriarchy.
Bergin Kerr Norman - Irishman Andrew Kerr (ex. Jacky Tar) and Alan Norman (The Warratahs, The Rag Poets) are joined by Paddy Burgin (The Wooden Box Band, The Zimmermans), who featured on Andrew and Alan’s critically acclaimed 2023 release ‘For the Record.’ A swampy melting pot of country, folk, americana and blues, they combine a mutual love of story-telling and rhythmic grooves with narratives about the human experience..
