Lower Bar Collective join the Fringe to bring their improvised soundscapes and guitar pedal driven noise experiments to the special Whangārei Quarry Garden tunnels.
Lower Bar Collective are an experimental music and art collective based in Tamaki Makaurau. They focus on creating improvised soundscapes that respond to their surroundings and are veterans of several Fringe Festival experiences.
For this performance the trio will be taking over the special Quarry Garden tunnels to create a virtual echo chamber for their ambient creations.
The audience will be free to experience the performance from a range of vantages inside or above the tunnel entrances, providing the opportunity for a unique listening experience.
Presented by Badgers Den Records - a first time visit for the LBC to Northland and one not to be missed.
