SINGER Songwriter Luke Hurley returns to Wellington to play his unique mix of Indian tabla meets Irish rock guitar folk at Moon Bar, Sunday December 22.
For decades, his original melodies, technically demanding guitar technique, and dynamic rhythms have been showcased on tour with musical legend Marianne Faithful and drawn comparisons with Bruce Cockburn and Ron Sexsmith.
An established performer, Hurley has played them all; pubs, street corners, bookstores, art galleries here and overseas, earning a reputation as a master craftsman of word and sound, often using humor to suggest different visions of our world.
