Presenting this FREE show on Valentine's Day, join the Floral Clocks with special guest Kraus “in search of the perfect love song” - from 8pm at Small Gods Taproom, Eden Terrace.
This will be the Floral Clock’s first show for 2025 and will be a very special fundraising event to help us achieve our goal of recording a new album capturing our current instrumental line-up:
Voice & Guitar (Gabriel White), Piano (Robert Sly), Cello (Rebecca Hendl-Smith) and Drums/Percussion (James McCarthy).
Legendary psychedelic producer Pat Kraus (aka Kraus) will open the night with a selection of new and existing work, delving into sci-fi sound-design and hypnotic polyrhythms.
Then the Floral Clocks kick on doing what we love, using our own acoustic sound palate to bring to life the words of our longstanding lyricist and creative partner, Richard von Sturmer.
The venue will be none other than Small Gods Taproom, Auckland's hidden beer garden, from 8pm on 14 February.
Come along, bring some friends and celebrate love in all it's weird shapes.
Entry will be free, and we will share a discrete invitation to contribute to our recording fund with a private donation.
Best wishes for a happy new year ahead, from the Floral Clocks...
- Richard, Gabriel, Robbie, Rebecca and James
