Auckland’s award-winning Best Rock Artist (AMA 2024) Racing, is set to headline a special fundraiser gig in support of DEPOT Sound, the beloved recording studio dedicated to nurturing local musicians.
Known for their hypnotic blend of psych-drenched groove and raw rock energy, Racing has built a reputation for electrifying live performances. Featuring former members of The Checks—Ed Knowles and Sven Pettersen—alongside Daniel Barrett and Izaak Houston, the band has cemented its place in Aotearoa’s rock scene, winning Best Rock Artist at the 2024 AMA Awards and previously at the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards.
Joining Racing on the lineup is CCTV, bringing more of Tāmaki Makaurau’s exciting local talent to the stage.
