The much-loved Māoriland Matariki Ramaroa Street Festival is back
Matariki Ramaroa will once again light up the heart of Ōtaki with live music, sweet, savoury and specialty food trucks, bouncy castles, market stalls, and art displays. There will be something for everyone, from tamariki to kaumātua.
Following the success of our Kai/Toi zone during the Māoriland Film Festival in March, we’re bringing that same space back to life for Matariki Ramaroa. This year, festival-goers can look forward to a transformed space behind Memorial Hall, featuring a stage, grass area, and cosy mats and bean bags – perfect for relaxing, eating, and soaking in the atmosphere.
