Tephra; a post metal/rock trio emerging from Otautahi/Christchurch debut at Wunderbar on the 12th of December 2025.
Tephra's sound brings ambient layored soundscapes, with crushing riffs and mesmerising rhythms. Taking inspiration from the thriving post rock scene with the likes of Jakob, High Dependency Unit and many more, Tephra brings a unique take to the genre using extended range guitars, outer worldy tones and effects and dynamic compositions.
