Attempting a Mazzy Star cover is a bold move considering Hope Sandoval's vocal stylings are pretty untouchable, but the sibling duo Jeff The Brotherhood have given it a good crack with their heavy rendition of 'Mary Of Silence'. Lifted from 1993 record So Tonight That I Might See, the original version is a spacious affair that, whereas the Orral bros have filled in the track with layers of distorted guitar, echoing drums, ominous bass and sludgy vocals. The song will be included on upcoming Jeff The Brotherhood record Global Chakra Rhythms due out next month, in the meantime soak this up...
