Primitive four-piece The Cavemen are preparing to unleash their debut album at the end of the week, and in anticipation have let it loose for streaming. The savage self-titled record comes bursting with 13 trash-punk tracks that run the thematic gaunlet of booze, babes, bikes, drug induced mental illness and hate.

The record was laid down and mixed by Ed Castelow at Mezzanine and will be released on vinyl via local label 1:12 Records. The album will also be available for download after their five-date tour kicking off this Friday, which is the last chance to see these neanderthals before they "piss off to Europe".  In the meantime, jam this in your earholes...

The Cavemen
are kicking off their No Sleep Till Tauranga Tour this Friday 20th November with a show in Hamilton supported by Wizz Kids and Markdown, and then they play Auckland's Lucha Lounge on Saturday night with Cool Runnings and Echo Ohs. Head over here for full dates and information
