Will Wood And Tourettes Announce Joint New Zealand Tour

In a somewhat strange pairing, country troubadour Will Wood and working class poet Tourettes are coming together for an extensive nationwide tour kicking off at the end of March. The month-long jaunt will see the two men regale audiences with their well-crafted tales of heartbreak and despair - Wood set to entrance listeners with songs from his upcoming second album Magpie Brain & Other Stories, while Tourettes will perform poetry that strikes at the core with its damning social commentary. At first glance, hardcore troubadour Will Wood and working class poet laureate, Tourettes might seem strange bedfellows.

But on closer inspection their mix of social commentary and odes to heartbreak and hard living are not worlds apart.

Both men have a love of performing anywhere at anytime and have traveled the globe telling stories at closing time, serenading locals and sleeping till noon.

This April the duo will be traversing Aotearoa, Mr Wood in support of his brand new album, 'Magpie Brain & Other Stories', while Tourettes (Dominic to his mother) is releasing a single/video "The New New Zealand".
