Stream Red Sky Blues' Self-Titled Debut Album (UTR Premiere)

We are super hyped to present the 4/20 premiere of the debut album from Wellington psychedelic stoner-rock outfit Red Sky Blues. The formidable four-piece, which brings together Ezra Simons (vocals, guitar), Patrick Hickley (guitar), David Benge (bass) and Jonathan Nott (drums), gave us a taster of the self-titled offering back in February when they let loose lead single 'High Places', but nothing could have prepared us for this killer collection of tracks. 

Featuring cuts that were written, reworked and road-tested during the last few years - along with some more recent numbers - the eight-song album was laid down with James Goldsmith at Blue Barn Studios in Wellington, and then sent off for the final touches by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege Mastering in Portland. The result is a riff-heavy listening experience that will take you on a head-nodding journey through soundscapes of doom, psych and desert rock.
