Listen: SoccerPractise - I Was Screaming

After waiting for what feels like an eternity, we are delighted to see that Auckland-based electronic trio SoccerPractise have emerged with new single 'I Was Screaming'. Following on from gorgeous earlier offerings 'Haere Mai E Tama' and 'Windfall', the track was recorded with Samuel Moore (of Bad Energy, Invisible Threads) and then sent to New York for the final touches by acclaimed mastering engineer Sarah Register. Writing on their Facebook page the band said of the song:

"'I Was Screaming' is a claustrophobic, minimalist arrangement with elements of dancehall and garage. We're really proud of this strange little creation and we hope you like it too."

Word has it the four-piece have almost completed their debut album, but in the meantime soak this up...

If you missed it back in September, be sure to head over here and watch SoccerPractise covering Moana & The Moa Hunters song 'Tahi' in a spine-tingling performance at the Silver Scroll Awards.
