Listen/Watch: Gorillaz - Hallelujah Money (Feat. Benjamin Clementine)

After months of teasing their return, Gorillaz have finally re-emerged with their first new song in six years features UK singer-songwriter Benjamin Clementine. Titled 'Hallelujah Money', the politically-charged song has been released in time to coincide with Trump's inauguration - the accompanying video opening with Clementine inside the garishly opulent Trump Tower foyer.

In a tweet accompanying the song’s release, Gorillaz wrote, “Dark time – u need someone to look up to … Here’s a lightning bolt of truth in a black night. Now piss on! New stuff won’t write itself.”

The apocalyptic song is the first taste of the a long-awaited new album from the Gorillaz due out later this year. In the meantime chew on this...
